12:53AM / Re-watching Breaking Bad for the first time with Jude. I really only watched it the once and then it burrowed inside of my head like some sort of worm. It’s like peak white people culture. Simultaneously hurting your family, your community and yourself for a supposed righteous reason while acting like the shittest version of a Mayflower passenger. Meth, unproven and undeserved displays of faux exceptionalism from a broken white man finally being treated as everyone else is by the system he helped build.
Maybe not the intended interruption, but that’s what’s cool about art.
The levels of broken humanity this show so brazenly displays are absolutely.
Exhaling a good hit of smoke out of my nose will always smell like October. It totally could be that it’s July, but…October. Collectively, everyone is getting more and more into Halloween. And while I can appreciate it from a capitalistic perspective, it does bring to mind the fact that the generation largely pushing forward and propping up capitalism is the one with Pluto in Scorpio.
It’s the slowest form of rot to live through/survive the shit this regime is doing. And I haven’t even be “directly” affected, yet. God, I really don’t want to be.
Sometimes I just gotta start typing instead of talking and had I done that when I was with my ex, I would have been the fuck out of there a lot sooner.
Re-watching this show is like writing about the stuff that happened to me in the past. It’s like “Oh yeah, he WAS a bastard. It was right there. It was obvious from a third party perspective if you understood what you were looking at.”
The disadvantage of real life is you’re too close to the problem to do anything except try to keep it from becoming *more* of a problem for you.
This show makes it seem like femininity kept the blades of balance in place by pure happenstance of being there.
7:09PM / The further the planet/species’/specifically the US goes into a tail spin, the more I expected people to STOP buying online SW services, if anything I expected an uptick for the full service industry. But I haven’t really seen the type of lull I expected. Is it slow? Fuck yes, but there’s always a reason for it to be slow. After looking at the various SW forums, it’s slow all over. Rains on the just and the unjust alike. But I still feel like it’s been even in people trying to utilize the sites (sign up, follow people they’re interested in, etc) at the very least. Just how no one is immune to propaganda, most people can be converted from watcher to spender.
When people start to see the cracks in their reality and the scary thing that peeks through from the other side, they dive deeper into whatever vice is the most calming void to distract them until they’re face to face with it. My job is to be one of those voids. So even if it takes a different form, my job will likely always be the same. Mostly because that’s all I’m fucking good at. Jestermaxing since birth.
“New Zealand and the US are the only two countries that allow direct-to-consumer drug advertisements, such as on TV.”

I wonder how many drug commercials we actually watch in the average episode…
COUNT: IIIOIIIIIIIII
I: Straight pharma commercials
O: OTC drug commercials
I would think it’s obvious that drug manufacturers should not be advertising directly to the consumers, by passing the important connecting tissue that health care professionals provide. If they’re worth a shit. Since COVID, it seems like more and more the people working within the health industry are just leftovers. People who maybe at one point were good at what they did, actually gave a shit about their patients, but now they’re just burnt out and numb. That bullshit really showed the cracks and the monster.
Do OTC drug commercials count? Should they be counted separately?
This is just on local channels, no cable or streaming stuff included.
