2:36 AM / It’s a fucking shame that Neil Gaiman is such a piece of shit in his personal life because American Gods might be my favorite piece of media ever. It fits (the illogical half of) my brain’s outlook on the spiritual realm. The logical side of my brain knows it’s all just happy little stories to placate humans with explanations for things before science was so widely accepted and revered. But it’s fun to think about and sometimes indulge in.

Can someone please explain to me why Jar Jar is racist? Is it because people found out the actor who helped portray his role with CGI was black? I am so fucking lost on this. I figured people hated him because he (on the base level) seemed like pandering to a much younger audience/selling out I guess? e
